Robinson disliked boxing because of the jimmy doyle tragedy. After all, how can anyone enjoy hurting another person after experiencing first hand what it is like to murder someone in the ring. He only boxed for the money and nothing else.

No. He said he NEVER enjoyed it. By the time of the Doyle fight, he already had about 130 wins.

Pretty simple to like what you do, until it’s time to not like what you do, o imagine Ray was like most men who had absolutely had no adverse to violence until it was time to, as a man who boxed professionally for 20 years I understand his love of the game, but as a compassionate man with kids i can absolutely understand why he hated

Yes, and he stayed totally healthy later years, no damage by boxing. Sugar Ray was the real Greatest, I like his smile, I admire his style and Ali was right that Ray was the real Greatest boxchampion of all Times,... next to himself. But Ali overdid it, he should have quit in 1976. Than he may be would still healthy today.
