I'm 60. I don't listen to music radio. Like many of my musical discoveries, I stumbled on to this one by accident. A K-Tel type pop hits CD with Sugarland's Baby Girl on it. Dug deeper and glad I did. She obviously wrote this song to demonstrate the pure power & clarity of her voice. Jennifer is the complete package at the peak of her abilities. Only natural for her to go solo. I only hope she has a good producer to free her to do her best work. This song is hard to beat. What an age we live in where you can press a button and have this in front of your eyes & ears.

I'm very much a late comer to Sugarland's music and most of what I've heard so far is very good, but this performance is absolutely phenomenal. I didn't think Roseanne Cash could be bettered in terms of live performances (Etta's Tune from 1 Mic 1 Take, for instance), but Jennifer's vocals are on another level, albeit they both perform different styles of country music. Simply outstanding.❤
