Overcast is typically one of the best times to shoot because it gets rid of harsh light. They should've messed around with the white balance before shooting in this weather, so it wasn't so washed out and low in contrast. It also would've helped make everything look less warm. Just my opinion though.

I generally feel that the color and look of this was done on purpose. It seems too washed out, to just be a mistake that wasn't fixed. It was most likely a creative choice to add atmsophere.
