Hi Nisha. Your Balsam Hill tree is very lovely and makes a terrific base for your ornaments and picks. You definitely have a talent for decor and the result is stunning and the burgundy baubles and ribbons are such a great colour choice. In Greece, Christmas decorations used to appear around 2 weeks before the 25th but in later years, folk started to put up their trees much earlier as the shops realised they could make it more profitable by dressing their windows and bringing in festive stock in November, especially after the economic crisis. It's really beautiful. Are the crystal drops actual glass or acrylic? Apart from the Balsam Hill drops, which I have, I can only find acrylic drops and don't want to buy them if they arent the right thing.

I'm such a fan of you Nisha but I'm sorry you've ruined a really lovely tree. It's overdone and really what's with these picks? You may as well have a cheap tree and fill it with this stuff. However as long as you like it that's all that matters. It's just my opinion and I'm sure it's a minority view but it's all about free speech!
