Early Spring Cleaning - MONDAY VLOG

Busy day at your home!!! Organizing is always a great feeling. I understand the obligations to our pets. I am retired and we have several cats, they are our family. They are indoor only so they are a lot of care. We can't just up and leave them to travel, and I don't put that as a priority. They ARE more important to us than a quick trip. I have done a lot of travel and their loving us is a much better return. I can't imagine our home without them, ever. I have had pets all my life and I am 73. I hope I always have a fur baby by my side. 🥰🥰🥰

Hi Nisha! The famous spring cleaning...! I painted all the closets and the pantry. My friend made me more shelves and I'm very happy! Now I have to repaint the living room and kitchen but first I have to clean all my cabinets and drawers! When I had my shih tzu I had to take him everywhere I went! When I was in my house I could leave him alone for a day but after I got divorced I couldn't leave him alone in an apartment. He would cry and bark and to avoid complaints from the neighbors I would take him everywhere! But we love them so much that we would do anything for them! However I have always had cats. And I never left them alone too long! But I couldn't live without a pet! Usually I go to the SPA to rescue one! Have a good week! xxx

Can’t beat a good sort out….makes you feel so much better. Louis a darling……all animals are a tie….. but they do bring a lot of love and pleasure that makes it all worth it. Cats can be just as much of a commitment because you love them and don’t want to leave them out roaming around. Loved all todays content, thank you Nisha 🌸

Love Louie! He reminds me of my male Shih Tzu Nelly. What a character he was! The joy of my life and a gift for the 6 years I was blessed to be his mama! Adopted him at the age of nine from a dear friend going through a divorce. He was my close companion! Miss him ❤ Smartest dog ever and so loving! He is running all over heaven now! 😊❤

I am afraid I am addicted to false lashes. After wearing them literally DAILY for a couple years I feel naked without them, even wearing a great mascara. I must try those lashes. They are excellent quality lashes, Risa is awesome. You look so pretty in pink; your nails are on point as always 💟

Hi Nisha l thoroughly enjoyed this video. Just seeing your lovely face, and talking like a friend. I've had Covid for 17 day's been in hospital just awful. I do agree it is hard with a dog, we still have Buddy's sister left which we can't leave alone as she frets. They give us so much love but it's sad when they go. You feel so good after you have cleaned your cupboards everything is fresh. Love those lashes, they suit you so much. Thanks for a lovely video ❤❤

Sweet peas are easy to grow. Plop the seed in the dirt and when the plants start to get tall place a tall stick near it so it can climb. One seed equals one plant equals a lot of peas. They are yummy too..

I'm going to jump in here and tell you to plant marigolds around the perimeters of your containers. It deters critters from getting into your plant beds. Your onion sets should go in fairly early in the Spring. Have fun!

Once I realised that they have vastly improved since the 1970s it’s become an obsession to find the right one (like you I have to research everything to within an inch of its life!). Oh God!! I love how your corner cupboard works 👍👍 I used to clean my fridge out every fortnight before my fresh shopping (only weekly for fresh fruit and veg.) And my house was spotless, even though I worked full-time as a nurse, 2 babies and a step-son... and All that goes with caring for them!! Now I'm retired and don't do half the cleaning, reorganisation etc that I used to do!!

Ok first I love your corner cabinet!!! I try to clean out my refrigerator once a week just to avoid having it all build up, but at the very least every 2 weeks . Cucumbers are so easy to grow, I grow them every year in a long box on my window shelf in my kitchen. Those new narrow long boxes you bought would be perfect for cucumber, just keep in mind the vines grow very high and quickly. Can’t wait to follow the fun!! Have a great week!

Good morning, Nisha. Just returned from my walk, we are experiencing very warm weather right now in upstate SC, it's in the 70s and 80s this week. You reminded me so much about how i felt about my little dog, they're such a commitment, but we love them so much too. I remember my husband and i went to Myrtle Beach for vacation, and we were walking on the beach with Molly and this lady had her little dog, we stopped for a chat, and she told us that her and her husband had bought a RV because of their dog, we talked for awhile and walked on. As soon as we did my husband said no, before i could ask him if we could buy an RV, lol. That's one way people can travel and have their dogs with them. I often thought if i were to get another dog, i would probably get 2 that way i wouldn't feel so bad about leaving one by itself. But the RV isn't a bad idea. Your husband is so sweet to have remembered the watermelon 💗. And what a character Louis is🥰 love it when he gets all muddy, his face is so happy. Yes they are a bind but they bring so much love. We have a cat who is an indoors cat. It is a lot more work and we can’t leave her so we have a babysitter who stays at our house when we travel. But she is the most loving and adorable sweetheart, and wouldn’t have it any other way.

Herbs are your best thing to grow at home, expensive to buy and don't last very long, so you can just pick as you want to use... and plant Basil with your Tomatoes as they help keep the pests away! 👍👍 good luck with your garden xx

I'm obsessed with watching people clean & de clutter. When we lost our Yorkie Stewie the house felt empty and I ended up rescuing 2 kittens. Yes cats are so much easier for someone to pop in. I'd love a dog but so tying we like to just take off places. Great video x

Started some spring cleaning too. Our weather hit a warm spell so I guess that's why. I understand what you mean about a dog. When ours died, 2 weeks after my mom as we also had taken in a stray pet bunny found in our yard and two stray cats. All are gone now and I said no more too for the same reasons.

I think that strawberries do not produce fruit the first year. Look into it to see if I am correct. I was told the plant only produces flowers that have to be pinched and then get fruit the second year. Hope this helps, I could be wrong.

My husband and and I love to travel and we have the same situation with our little dog, but we manage to somehow work it out. She is just like a child and pouts when she doesn’t get to go wherever we go!!! We own a very nice RV that is just like having our home away from home, so this makes traveling with our dog so much easier. We sometimes keep our two grand dogs so when we have them to keep Gracie company we always plan more elaborate nights or afternoons out. We really don’t mind the sacrifices we make for our dog, but I certainly understand how you feel!!! Gracie has never been boarded and she never will…basically, if she can’t go we don’t need and really don’t want to go either!!!

I went back and watched this video. I listened to you talking about precious Louie. I feel the same way about my St. Bernard, Hoss. I love him and cherish him very much like a child. I get separation anxiety when I have to be away from him. In June, we are supposed to rent a huge cabin in the mountains for a big family reunion vacation in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee and we live only 30 minutes away from the destination. All I can think about is that I have to leave him at home because dogs are not allowed. I will probably be driving back home just to be with him every single day throughout the week.

Omgosh we just did the same thing the other day we had some stuff from 2015, not even opened yet😏 love your videos. You two are great. And of course Louie☺️. We are retired and go on little road trips alot, and that is why we don't have pets, they are a huge responsibility. Our friends have three dogs, and when we go to visit them they have to be home at a certain time to feed them, that can be a little annoying sometimes.

Try to find a doggie day care. Take Louie there for the day and let him play with other dogs and pick him up when your day on the town is finished.🐶

I’m glad your out walking. Fresh air is good for you. Spring cleaning isa must. Plus we are able to see what you have in hand. Yes grow what you enjoy eating. Grow your cucumbers one month a part so you have a longer growing season. Can’t wait to see what you plant. You can find someone to house sit your dog. And possible look after your plants, and catching up with cleaning like windows, screens and ceiling fans. Maybe pay your friend so they. A lot of content creators pay someone 3-4 times a year to look after their animals.

Aww I hear you Nisha being a doggy mummy. Ironic really that once you have the time and money to go out more, have hols etc you can’t ! But on the plus side our furry friends love us unconditionally, listen to our ramblings lol and keep us fit coz I can assure you there’s no way I’d be going on long walks come rain or shine ! Used to feel quite smug actually having a dog to walk during lockdown he was never walked so much! He is a large Ridgeback so does need a lot of exercise tbh which helps me! Loved the lashes but I find half way thru the eve one is hanging off 😂will have to give them another go. Totally agree about men shopping if I left it to my other half we’d only have biscuits cakes crisps and rubbish to live on 😩 just as an aside would love to see you make a Polish dish if you’re ok to do this don’t worry nothing too extravagant lol enjoy your week x

Get Louie certified as a service dog or an emotional support dog. Here in the states they can’t deny you any indoor or outdoor events or dining when you have a service dog.

I’m just as bad for hoarding out of date sauces , spices and end up with a sack full 😂. Nisha we’re the same and very restricted with 2 German shepherds had a pug. We have to rely on our eldest son if ever we go away but it still means them being at home all day alone and we don’t like doing that . We never use kennels and we can’t take them anywhere other than open fields as one of the shepherds is anti social and wouldn’t stop barking at any other dog in her sight 😫 I love them dearly but do think that my life revolves round them cos I don’t like leaving them really for more than a Couple of hours . I can’t believe I’m actually in the process of looking for new lashes as it’s my 3rd sons 18th tomorrow so we’re going out for a nice meal on Saturday . These look lovely! Thanks for the link . It's a hard one, isn't it? we love having pets but they are restricting our lives. I have said "I am not having another one after Louis", but you never know I might miss not having a dog as I have never really been without one since I was a child. At least we can take him away with us in this country xx

I always had cats … yes they are easier but let me tell you I ruined every trip we went on because I was so worried leaving them !!! We are pet free now but we still don’t do much … we tend to get into a routine (or rut) . It’s frustrating !

My kids take their dog to the pet hostel, it's pretty decent, and I only look after the cat and the lizard when they go on vacation. Take it with patience, and if there is no way to rent an animal hotel during the holidays and trips, then you have to come to terms with this animal problem. ​@@SugarPuffAndFluff Yes, the lizard was wild for me, but when my children went on vacation, I had to take care of it, feed it with live crickets, splash the terrarium with water, it loves moisture and warmth, once I accidentally pressed the tip of its tail on it and it it fell off, I was scared, but I was reassured at the pet store that these lizards' tail grows again. Indeed, the tail has grown and even the sisl is longer and there is no scar left, but she is beautiful and they are very smart, I would never have thought she responds to her nickname Yasha. Although, to be honest, I have enough birds to feed in the yard. It's so wonderful to see you. You're a very busy woman but I can't get enough. It's very late here in Vegas. Risa does makeup is someone I have been following. Oh she had a huge catered event for her collaboration with BK Beauty. Those lashes are sure getting around. Yes I am so sad, my 13 yo black lab has inoperable liposarcoma for sometime now she is 13 and so smart. My husband works on the strip in a popular Hotel and Casino ( night shift). I do not know what I am going to do and this last week I see more of a decline. I medicate her so she sleeps well at night.. Lately she sleeps in the master bedroom I suppose she wants to be close to me. This will be my 5th time putting down a dog. This is going to be a really hard one. I would love to walk our little dog off leash in the woods near us but we have coyotes in the neighborhood.
