Finally someone addressed how to treat the beachy wave wig shine, thinning, etc. Thanks so much! Everything about them has been talked about as far as curl pattern, how to slice comb them and other things, but whether to use dry shampoo or other products on them has not been talked about until you did this video. Thanks again! Much love to you from a USA, southern gal!

Loved this demo! You have the prettiest wigs! I use dry shampoo also and cut my fringe into wigs. I have lately been using baby shampoo to wash them and that helps with shine control too. : ) Happy New Year!

I was taught to thin by going down close to the root and then cut with the thinning shears so that you don't end up with short flyaways. Also if you thin on the underneath layers you can cover with the top layer that is not thinned. This is a beautiful wig, the color looks great on you without the yellow tint. Wigs by Patti's Pearls is where I learned it and it worked well for me, no flyaways on my Jon Renau topper. :-)

I agree that the silver color looks amazing on her. It really pops her blue eyes, which are already stunning. I liked the yellow side differently, as she is correct about real-life bleached hair having more flyaways and not being super smooth, however, on camera, the silver side looked better to me, and the shininess was not a bad thing like it might be in person. I am new to wigs, so I am still worried about how fake they look and trying to learn all the tricks to these life changers (I have mousey thin hair all of my life). I almost feel on camera, that the exaggerated size and silkiness are preferred, but when I am out in the field working, I don't want it to look that perfect. I am mostly only wearing mine on camera right now.

@@SuperNewKittie Oh I remember those days of wondering if my wig looked fake. They never did because I stuck with the name brands and because I wear brunette colored wigs, they seem to have less shine than the blondes. I've gotten so many compliments on how "my hair is so pretty." And some from women who would stop me in stores. I did a little test and decided I would not tell anyone I was wearing a wig, even my close friends. I wanted to see how long it would take them to notice. Granted I wear wig styles close to my own hair style and color. Well it took on of my best friends to notice. She was shocked that I was wearing a wig and had been for 2 years. I love having good hair days everyday.

Hi Nisha! I love this dry shampoo! I've been using it for almost a year now. He smells great and I like the look he gives. I don't wear wigs because my hair is long and super thick. And, my hair has natural curves. But the trick of the two dry shampoos, I'll try! You have fairy fingers and it's beautiful to see! Have a good weekend!

I am very interested in this beautiful wig just that price. I need to buy at least 2 at a time because I always wear a wig due to having no bio hair. You look beautiful as always. Hi Nisha you look lovely as always. However I'm sorry but I just don't understand why anyone would want a wig that they have paid a good price for to then go about dulling , thining and yellowing it? It seems to me the polar opposite of what anyone wants from their hair. I have at least the amount of hair you wig has and it's natural blonde. I work at keeping it shiny and full, my hairdresser tells me this is certainly the way to go. I can't ever imagine wanting to thin my natural hair or a wig . Shiny hair is healthy hair. I know you are a fan of wigs Nisha, of course that's absolutely fine but I'm sorry the processes you have shown on this video just don't make sense. I always enjoy your videos and look forward to seeing you do various things. I suppose each to their own, but this one certainly left me scratching my head!!

Wigs can be super thick in the front, and naturally, you have maybe one or two dense areas, but other areas are thinner. Hair is almost always thinner around the face than in the back or on the sides. The shine can be unnatural, but I figure it’ll dull over time, so I don’t bother with dry shampoo. Just combing… I do agree with the yellow though. I think she should have kept it platinum - otherwise, just order a different color.

I just got the Jon Renau Julianne in Palm Springs blonde and I’ve never had a regular synthetic. The only other wig I have is a heat, friendly fiber, and I’m Shook at how shiny this is! I really want to try the dry shampoo. In your opinion, does it take the shine down enough to make it believable? Let me just give you one tip because I am or was a hairstylist. Don’t use the thinning shears that close to the roots you should be thinning about halfway down the strand to start. You can notice on that very front piece you went way too high towards the part and that’s why it doesn’t seem to be behaving. Those short hairs that are inside those pieces you cut make the hair stick out especially with curly hair! 😀

I don't have the 22f16 anymore, I gave it to my mum. They are both on a cool blonde side, the palm springs is much brighter/platinum and it has a root. 22f16 is very nice but has no root. @@SugarPuffAndFluff OK thank you Nisha, I have tried to look at them both on KZbin but they tend to all look different, probably because they are done on different cameras. I don't care about a root on a hand tied cap, I like you part my hair on the right. Is the 22f16 ,have more light ash blond in it 22, more than the 16 dark ash blond would you say? Thanks your help is appreciated. xxxx

You could also use vinegar to remove shine

my hair is infact shinny - especially after I trim it so I don't know why everyone thinks dull looks more natural. It looks dirty. I was looking at wigs because mine seems to be thinning with age but its a pain to find a good one.
