anxiety reminds me of this game about an anxiety demon. its trying to help you by alarming you of all the dangers and preparing you for all possibilities. it doesnt know how to really help, it needs help helping you, and anxiety is just like that game. that game, i forgot what its called, is why i see anxiety as a friend that is trying to help, and just rwally sucks at it. it makes me actually feel better to think of it that way, like the anxiety notices im treatng it nice, cuz its a friend that wants to help. and this movie, i theorize was inspired by that game. very beautiful

I think Envy is more like Anxiety’s loyal sidekick/second-in-command/BFF/assistant/sis than her adopted child. Envy goes along with everything Anxiety says and either agrees with (or sometimes *pretends to* agree with) or goes along with every one of Anxiety’s ideas (probably because she’s a bit of a people-pleaser) while sometimes bringing her own ideas to Anxiety

Joy was Riley's main emotion. Sadness was her mom's main emotion. Anger was her dad's. Me as someone who have bipolar disorder ii, my main emotion is Anxiety since a child. Edit: Joy despite being Riley's main emotion doesn't mean Riley is always happy. Her mom isn't always sad, just stoic and serious despite Sadness being her main emotion. While her dad was always kind, cheerful and loving and never abusive despite Anger being his main emotion. And I never let Anxiety take over my life even though it's my main emotion. At the end of the day, it's you that determines who you are, what you are and who you want to be, not your emotions.
