2 things; 1: I like the fact that the titlecard's theme is lying to the player 2: If im making the visuals out correctly, the idea of needing to escape the SUN DYING AND THE SUMMONING OF A COSMIC ENTITY, it's really creative and works with the eldrich horror aspects really well.

The red thing is prob a cherry. It is one of, if not the only fruit in the whole spire not filled with sugar, it is in one of the last levels at the top of the spire, is in the sky in the level, and is therefore "the cherry on top"! Plus it is prob this level that is the cherry on top, making Pizzelle snap and go fight the final boss instead of running away. Plus, a cherry has a stem, and if you look at the top of the title card and some of the other art, you can see that it has a stem! Even the title card's words show it with a stem in mini form. 1000000010% a cherry. Btw not related but I think that the joke is that it is like a star going supernova, and turning into a red giant, like the sun will, and pulling everything in before exploding! The snowstorm part shows how the earth would become freezing for a period of time when the star shrinks in on itself before becoming a red giant. Or it is just an eldritch jawbreaker with a stem. Also, did anyone else see what happened at 5:32 when the screen faded?
