I absolutely LOVE this watch. I put it into my weekly rotation and I just adore it. I even enjoy winding it - as it is so smooth and such a pleasure to spend time with. The crown is also easy to grab and adjust if needed. I can't believe the quiet appreciation as so few people are talking about it. I am a chronograph lover. ALL of my watches are very different types of chronographs - old and new. This one has a very 'old world' feel to it and is SUCH a favorite of mine. I'm tempted to just buy another one and put it back just in case...

@@rouju Yea, it's a little big. With a 50mm L-to-L it has an obvious presence on any wrist. I have only a 6 1/2 inch wrist (but they are thin and wide) and I think it looks just fine. It just calls notice to itself and that's not altogether bad either. Love It! Thanks for the review!

I bought one after watching this video and am very, very happy with it. I wear it with a grey and black Nato strap and it looks fantastic.

Glad you like it. This watch is a strap monster!!! And since it's not that...heavy. Any strap is a fit for this beauty.

I LOVE this watch! I want to see it on different bands - INCLUDING some metal bracelets. It is NOT a 'copy' but rather an honorable "homage" to the BP-AC. The lume is C3 - so it is VERY bright and last all night. It is not a dive watch so the lumed ceramic bezel is omni-directional. Most pilot watches such as this one have only limited water resistance. The sapphire crystal is also anti-reflective coated on the inside AND out! The exhibition case back is just an incredible added feature!! It is perfectly in line with the measurements original BC-AC but is a little large for a girly like me. Still, I love wearing oversized men's watches with such an attached historical heritage such as this one. Thanks for showing it off.

Kudos for the info. Yes this watch is awesome. I just hope one day the smaller version will available because for some this might be too big

@@rouju I am DEFINATELY with you on that! The ST1901 movement would be absolutely GREAT in a smaller diameter watch!! I love chronographs and use them in my work so smaller WOULD be better!!

review nya keren om, saya juga sangat suka banget jam ini awalnya ragu untuk membeli karena case size nya 42mm dan L to L 51mm tapi saya jatuh cinta dengan desain homage blancpain dan vintage military/pilot dialnya, ahirnya saya putuskan untuk membelinya dan ternyata cukup pas ditangan masih terlihat normal ga kegedean, power reserve juga panjang, material product nya ok banget...jam ini elegant tapi manly ga nyesel beli ...semoga saya bisa menyimpannya dan ga harus menjualnya lagi...hahaha

I had to send mine back. Chrono hand would only occasionally go back to to the correct position after reset. Often 1 to 2 seconds before ... so sad😮

Sorry to hear that. Thank God mine was fine, and I bought the watch from the same store. Hopefully yours can be replaced with a new one

Hello, I’m torn between this watch and the vintage one that you reviewed 8 months ago….What would you suggest? From your experience? Because this is a big watch 42mm and with lug to lug 51mm vs Vintage 36mm 🤔

How big is your wrist? If it's above 17cm, both are fine. But if you have small wrist, the vintage one will suits you better. Also the vintage one could be dressed up or dressed down. But for me, this Air Command homage is better since I always prefer more sporty or military style

@@rouju Yep thank you :), I already picked up this air command on sale because of the more wrist presence it got, rather than the vintage one… It’s a bit big but it’s ok, I have a normal size wrist though, I hope it’s fine.

It is actually considered big for some people he he. Especially knowing the movement seagulls that usually under 40mm. But for pilot watch, big is cool he he. I understand your preference
