I feel as if this is only the case so the VAs can avoid calling Yu by his name since it might sound confusing for whatever reason and so they probably had him do so with only the characters that rarely call by his name

I know this is late And probably wrong But what if Arena and BBTAG take place in the timeline of a NG+ run? One where Yosuke was never maxed? Yu would know about the fight at Rank 10, and Yosuke would still have Jiraiya. Yosuke probably would have no idea about what Yu's saying tho.

i don’t think that the uniforms would be their form of rebellion, it’s just what they wear whenever they visit the tv world. also, i think that the costumes for p4 would be based off the thing they’ve tried to hide before, or atleast a fragment of it because that’s basically the main theme of p4. (like the costume would be showing them saying “i embrace this part of me now!” or something.) i’m also very excited for p5a. i hope they include the p3 cast if they can, i want to fight with a wide variety of characters.
