I would love to see DLC with a second squad like the movie, with the primary team not knowing the second exists. The DLC story could run parallel to the main games activities, giving you an alt perspective on what you've already done. Killer Croc would be a cool addition, but based on where his character was left he would be hard to control - hes practically a Kiju. For me, Deathstroke, Katana, Bane, and Enchantress would be a fitting crew. Traversal is huge in this game, so they each have to have a unique way to move. Deathstroke = jetboots similar to deathstroke bust with a unique spin Katana = using her enchanted katana attached to a chain she can grapple buildings and helicopter glide with updraft boost. Enchantress = portal blink, similar to Boomerang but with a glide boost out the other end like a Phoenix. Bane = stolen freeze tech, creates ice slides like Iceman in the comics, mini explosive boosts help gain height and forward momentum. After that, ANOTHER DLC team of 4 could be introduced: Peacemaker, Black Manta, Nightshade (female), Killer Frost. Traversal Peacemaker = Booster Golds faulty flight belt/time manipulator. Black Manta = stolen Atlantian hydrojets, create a burst of water AOE upon take off and landing, can be combined with freeze based powers to solidify entire rooftops. Nightshade = shadow transfer; nightshade character model turns into a 3d shadow, then absorbs down into her 2d shadow on the ground. Moves as quickly as a shadow passing by the sun. Killer Frost = cloud skating, Frost can freeze the humidity in the air for a spilt second instantly giving her footing for a single triple jump that leads into a slide skate with cloud vapor trailing behind. Eventually, enough teams are introduced that new individual and squad based PvP modes are built. My pipe dream continues. Lol

Honestly I doubt they’ll kill any of the trinity. Wonder Woman seems to not even be corrupted in this game. However I do have a manor worry that they might kill off the Flash. He was featured the most out of everyone so maybe they’ll actually kill him off which would suck. They may also kill off Green Lantern which you could technically just have another green lantern in a future project set in the arkham universe but then it would be problematic for one cause it’s one of the green lantern’s that is diverse and you know there’d be hella backlash for that from the mob but also Jon Stewart is many people’s favorite green lantern so that would be a big mistake. Jon Stewart was the Green Lantern that I grew up with cause of Justice League and Justice League Unlimited.

@@luisz222 I think that Wonder Woman will get corrupted at some point since they gave her a poster so she might be a boss, she might be similar to Flash who starts off heroic but then gets captured and brainwashed. I'm honestly wishing that these corrupted versions of the league are actually Brainiac clones and we have to break into his ship in order to free the real Justice League. Because let's face it there is one threat worse then Brainiac in the DC universe who the suicide squad wouldn't stand a chance against so Earth kind of needs the Justice League to combat him.

Buying skins isn't something new to rocksteady games as you still had to buy character skins in the Arkham games too. My issue is seeing established characters not known to use guns (Captian Boomerang) and use guns. But then again, I'm not too deep in the lore of DC villains. Maybe Boomerang does use guns, just not as often.

Actually he does, but extremely rarely since he isn't good with them. So when he does he usually uses shotguns or submachine guns so he can make sure he hits. So... the submachine gun, from the gameplay I've seen I think that is the gun and if it is the gun he uses is actually accurate.

He uses guns when necessary but he's a master of the boomerang so prefers that. Some people acting like he'd flat out refuse to use a gun out of loyalty to his boomerangs as if his whole evil masterplan is to replace guns with boomerangs

Since it's a shooter, after Captain BOOMERANG with machine guns and a rifle as his main weapons, we will get Cheetah with a shotgun, Solomon Grundy with a rocket launcher and Bronze Tiger with dual pistols.

Additional purchases outside the battle pass was expected for me, no different than the previous Arkham Games (especially Arkham Knight) that had tons of skins to purchase for like $5 max. Hopefully skin prices aren't too much higher, especially given how they are cosmetic only. One thing I hope for when new characters and stories release is themed skins. Great example being Deathstroke. If he's added, it would be cool to get Deathstroke themed skins for the other Squad members, especially for Deadshot. And if Deathstroke gets added to the game, I hope he gets a Deadshot skin as a nod to the characters' rivalry. We've seen a Flash skin for Boomer, Wonder Woman for Harley, and Superman for King Shark, so hppefully that trend continues with additional characters and enemies that get added.

the only real problem with that is if the servers crash at launch, or when there's a maintenance and we can't play the game. Since everybody's sure the game will flop, if they shut down the servers if 5 or 6 years, then who's gonna care... It's a false debate, every year players buy and spend hours, money and sweat on fifa ultimate team or madden ultimate team, and it's litterally a fresh restart from nothing every year.... who's actually playing madden 19 ultimate team or fifa's right now... I'm not sure about the usual pricing for deluxe or collectors editions. But SSKTJL will cost £99.99 if you decide to pre-order the deluxe edition. You will get 72 hour early launch access to the game though. As for the skins I don't think they've said anything about that yet.

At the end it all depends what are the premium cosmectics content are going to be; if they are really cool skins like base on the movies; animes and all and there's also a way to get them with tokens for the pass then it gives us something to grind for.... Crossplay and Cross progression is a huge W which was definitely lacking from Gotham Knights. I'm a bit more inclined to buy this game now, still not 100% sold. I need to see a beefy campaign, extremely good progression and unlockables/skins before paying extra money for the Battle Pass and what not. I am very down with supporting the devs with cosmetics if the post launch content is good, fun, and varied. Really sick of the extreme repetition of Destiny 2. I just want fun and interesting content. The new playable characters might actually be super hype if they keep the traversal in mind. Avengers had a major issue where some characters felt really fun to fly around as and then others just ran, literally just sprinted across huge open areas. Hope nothing but the best for Rocksteady and this game. I am inclined to trust the developer from their history of making really good games.

It's excusable to have in game cosmetics that can only be bought with the digital currency because with a game that has full cross progression if the cosmetics were bought through your consoles marketplace those cosmetics would not be able to transfer since they were not bought in game and instead were bought through the storefront Just look at that by daylight any DLC characters you bought on your console cannot be transferred to any other console unless you bought it in-game with their in-game currency

I am so against the idea of a game that you can play solo requiring online access, and it would be enough for me to just not buy this game outright. The only reason I'm still considering it is because it's Kevin Conroy's final time voicing Batman. I'm not gonna pre-order, but if reviews say it's good, if it seems fun, I may give it a go, but it's a very thin line that this game is on for me.

Idk why ppl are getting bent out of shape for The battle pass and microtransaction part of the game which is OPTIONAL these games cost more to make and if they don't meet the target sales they need something else to make money

Crossplay is ok, the free battlepass sounds... Meh? I still don't trust them. Live-service games are always set to make the player grind stuff for unlockables like there's no tomorrow, and when they're tired, they would just buy the skins. I don't want that in DC games. Nobody wants that. What we wanted was a Batman game, not a live-service looter shooter. I hooe the game is good, but at the same time, I hope it bombs and WB changes their mindset about going full live-service route.

The only reason I was on board and bought Gotham Knights was because a single player mode was added. Unless Suicide Squad adds a single player mode, I’m unfortunately passing on this one. I’m not a fan at all of online only games.
