A lot of the features of this game probably seemed like reasonable ideas when they were first implemented many years ago…since then gamers have rejected the Avengers game and Gotham Knights (among others) though, so I’m sure they would make different decisions if they were starting the game today…just a side effect of the super long development cycle I suppose 🤔

I think the main mistake was making this a shooter with flying combat. Would've preferred a more melee focused with a side of ranged combat instead. But then there's a lot of other things players don't want as well. This will be a wait and see for me.

i mean, deadshot and captain boomerang are ranged fighters more than anything, harley can be both things and king shark should be melee. it does look way more smooth than gotham knights combat for sure.

deadshot should be the actual shooter, cptn boomerang should be some type of fantastical shooter, harley does use guns a lot of times but she should be the versatile one jumping from one playstyle to the other, while king shark should be the melee tank. it does look way more smooth than gotham knights for sure.

Latest gameplay makes it look like Gotham Knights which was a grindy mess with repetitive quests and uninspired bosses, add in a layer of battle pass and ingame shop and you got a recipe for disaster. Rocksteady needs to pull a magic trick if the only thing that looks good are the cinematics.

I think perhaps the most vital thing to know about this game before buying is not to have high hopes because this is going to be an absoulute shitshow after launch. Guess nobody learned any lessons form 'Marvel's Avengers' and the 'Gotham Knights'. They'll mess up Kevin Conroy's last farewell to us. What a shame!

The only thing i should know is that when i pre order this game is that I will have fun with it, meanwhile others will complain about it. Just like every other live service game currently out. Gotham knights, marvel avengers, suicide squad, the live service jedi game. The games will not critically suceed but we will continue to support these games because we have fun, while others bash on it because they want everything free.

Where to start Cyberpunk, Avengers, Battlefield, Call of Duty, Fallout 76, GTA Remaster, and actually a bunch more. 2021-22 showed me pre-ordering is a thing of the past for me. Since I can't trust them to give me a complete game for 70.00 to 100.00!!! Issue with inflation. Prices go up but not the quality or quantity.
