Online Japanese Carpentry Course through Real Construction⇒www.kickstarter.com/projects/1911438091/online-japanese-carpentry-course-through-real-construction We are building a Japanese carpentry school in France. We will document this entire process with drawings, photos and videos, and make it an online course so that everyone can learn about Japanese carpentry in English through this real construction project. We will use traditional Japanese techniques and construction methods, and use local materials such as wood, stone, and soil to build the most sustainable buildings possible. We hope you enjoy our carpentry learning materials. Let’s enjoy woodworking together!

I've watched a dozen of these types of videos and I still don't feel confident adjusting the Dai. I suppose I'll just have to try. 😅. My blade doesn't fit without adjustment. I just hope I don't ruin it 😢

So well done and not rushed. Very informative on how to do. Can you post the hammer details you were using? The mass, and the size of the hammer or a link to this and the Kanna you are using? Thank you, Senpai!

What type of stone are you using when you say "diamond stone?" I've found some good King-brand sharpening stones to buy here in Germany but can't seem to find any diamond stones that are meant for sharpening them.

The diamond stone I'm talking about is an aluminum plate with diamond particles attached to it. It's a very useful tool and a very important tool.
