Everyone's experiences with this song and vrchat are so sad. For me this song reminds me of playing the game for the first time. I was so innocent and young, going to the black cat then midnight rooftop with them to run around and jump off the rails and to talk while drawing was the best memories to start as a vrc player. Been in vrc since 2017, made so many memories, came back 2021 after a 1 year break and first world I returned to was midnight rooftop, was buzzed off my ass and stressed from my new management position so I unwinded and met some amazing people, they've come and gone since then but midnight rooftop always kept being my spot for meeting amazing people. There are so many memories just off that one map it's insane. It's true that a lot of sad individuals came around, but after a good chat and goofy drawings, I always see those individuals leave happy.

This song makes me cry every time I heart it, I met some of my best friends on vrchat in this world. This used to be the world we always hung out in. From stupid shenanigans to venting to each other about our problems this got us through it all. And it was only just a few months ago that I met them. The amount of nostalgia this song brings to me is immeasurable. I just wish I could go back to that world and relive all of those memories I made with them. This is the true meaning of "that hit different." This song and the world matched soooo well together and i remember playing in this world for the first time like 2 years ago and I remember keeping this as my home world 24/7 because oh just how nice it was to be here. The new midnight rooftop kinda is not a 1000000000/10 unlike the OG world, this world is full of the best memories and LexZ is an absolute legend for making this world because everytime I go there, (alone mostly) i just sit there and chill and take an emotional and mental breath and drop a tear or two depending on whats going on. This music honestly hits so differently now. Back when the pandemic started I played VRchat for entire days at a time, and it helped me leave my shell and express myself as a person. I’ve had so many wonderful adventures and experiences, and I’ve met so many amazing people on there. I never thought I would experience nostalgia at a young age, but now that I’ve started college and more or less moved on, I feel this incredible bitter/sweet feeling when looking back, it was just so magical, for lack of a better word. I think this song is the personification the Vrchat community, mostly after your done with it all. What used to be a nice lofi song in a world now brings a rush of nostalgia you can't help but feel so melancholic towards. The groups you used to be apart of, those nights where somehow you stayed up until sunrise, the constant world exploring, the bullish!t drama, and the people you met that you truly thought would be there around you for life. Until that all fades away, and then you chase those same moments by spending countless hours in the game trying to find something to fill that hole. Just trapped in nostalgia, constantly escaping with vr in your room, it's hard to focus in the present that way.

This song really hits different. As a person who plays vrchat 24/7 this really brings back some past memories. From venting, to throwing pillows at pillows, to yelling at each other i cherised every moment of it. All of my friends ive met on that app have all been lovley to me, shoutout to futuristic and the gang, yall always were there for me. Shoutout to my current family, yall keepin up with my nonesense. I love them so much i cant even explain it, theyve always been there for me. Ive had multiple surgies and past experiences and theyve always been there to just listen and help me through it.
