@@ripinthechat239 I started following Hololive just after the Mano Aloe situation happened so I can't say what the reaction from other members fanbases was at the time. The rest of Gen 5 all publicly backed her publicly & they're still friendly. But no I can't think of there ever really a holo girl saying they felt shunned or looked down on by other members, or that a part of the fanbase wanted them completely cut off from their fave. edit: Strictly speaking about other Hololive girls. There have definitely been some negative reactions from parts of the fanbase over Holostars collabs before

If it was truly someone being sincere, I imagine they meant to avoid mentioning them until the shitstorm subsides a bit (I don't know the timeline for the Twitter side of things, but it sounds like it was all very recent at the time of the marshmellow stream). I don't imagine there are many people who are (earnest) fans of any Hololive talent yet don't appreciate their interactions Obviously there are outliers for any rule, but that's just a law of nature, it's as pointless to discuss as the sun rising every morning (in other words, let's come back to that topic a few billion years later)

Thank you for your hard works. My oshi is really really strong, so I can rest easy while continue to support her. One thing that sadden me is that instead of watching carefully translated clips like this, people chose to jump at a click baiting clip and starts to blame the so-called idol culture and parasocial fan en mass, while Sui-chan clearly stated that isn't the case at all, asking people not to make such mistake. @@serghonest9 To make it simple. The other party (the "male idol") is super big and well known (more than Suisei) and the ""news"" was reported by dramatubers (also much bigger than Suisei). So the huge huge issue comes from haters who harass idols on monday, youtubers on tuesdays, seiyuus on sundays and Suisei today, because today’s news is Suisei. They attack both Suisei’s and the fans with stuff like "look your oshi betrayed you" or might try to act as disappointed fans (but it’s just an act), other antis (vtuber antis, antis who are nijisanji fans, etc.) are adding onto this. The actual Suisei fans who are watching her everyday are not attacking her. There is no "gachikoi turned anti". There is no "Suisei betrayed me, so I’m attacking her now". There is no "I can’t believe my Oshi is with a man". Everyone is just supportive and bracing themselves for difficult times as they get attacked by antis.

One of the regretful decision that Cover did is to ask talents to be wary of collabing with Kaichou back during the controversies. It is something that still being condemned especially by Myth members because after that, talents really don't know how to initiate talk and collab with Kaichou again until her graduation announcement (after that, everyone just collabed like crazy with her almost every day). I'm glad that talents mostly agree that stay away from talents who become internet "plaything" is something they will regret in the end. Just push through.. All talents are strong, Cover legal support is also working, and fanbase is strong enough to protect talents from trolls.

I'm not sure if the tools are worse but you're right the moderation on twitch is taken much more seriously. Hololive is long overdue for having dedicated mods, on all channels. I'm not sure why they don't, maybe they got scared since i heard that in Coco's time antis actually managed to get themselves appointed as mods and did some damage. But heck, it is needed. Kiara decided not to do AoE tournaments for a while cuz sweaty losers kept ripping on her. Dedicated mods would have made short work of them
