We understand mostly but i also feel like were unique in the fact that we've heard dozens to hundreds of talents voice actors and musicians from Japan speak some level of broken English or use it in a song to different levels of fluency and comedic effect for certain shows so we can kinda comprehend some of the off sounding words and guess when a word is like missing or wrong but someone who hasnt dealt with that a lot might have trouble without asking you to repeat a few times especially going up to a stranger and saying that all in one go if they aren't expecting it
