I also thought Kanaria was a girl when Requiem got released, since I haven't tried to learn about him or listened to his songs before it (outside of the multiple cover of King). It's only when Neverfiction got released and he started vtubing that I understood it was a boy. And to be honest, it is still confusing since his avatar is quite androgynous, like his voice.

As Kanaria release his first song with his voice for Chainsaw Man ending Cerebral Rendezvous i thought that's pretty give away that he is he. Unlike Mafumafu voice which sound really soft during singing Kanaria's voice still sound harsher as male voice usually does so does people actually miss this?

​​@@tatari3777 I think mainly because of the thumbnail kanaria used in his Requiem video, where he was wearing a bunny girl outfit, so probably got misunderstood from there, but yeah other than Suisei, he himself also confirmed he's a male on his debut stream
