Norihito Onuma (1947-2013) piano tuner. This great piano tuner supported performances of Hiromi.

Just re-uploading my comment, for those who do not know who the elderly gentleman at the end is... “He is Norihito Onuma. He was a world-famous piano tuner. Famous jazz pianists such as Michel Camilo, Chick Corea (and of course Hiromi herself) used to ask him to tune their pianos. Onuma passed away in 2013. I believe Onuma was too old to tune any more and was almost dying when Hiromi brought him on stage... You see tears in Hiromi’s eyes...”

Just wish it was larger. Artistic genius is the one thing that can bind people together. Each individual appreciates art in his or her own way, but then we all appreciate others who share the same feeling. It's an aspect of life that's sorely missing right now - a lack of any shared appreciation for art or an artist (with the possible exception of Marvel movies). There are many here that recognize Hiromi as a potentially unifying force. It's a mystery to me why it hasn't really happened for her. She's never been invited onto a late night show, which is a solid way to break artists. Maybe I just have a higher tolerance for jazz fusion (growing up in the 70s and loving Weather Report and Billy Cobham), but I like other music too. Why can't more people appreciation this?
