Well, the Germans invaded France and a local woman lucile strikes up a relationship with one of the officers who has to live in one of the rooms of her mother in laws house , luciles husband is in the war but he gets captured and put in a german concentration camp , but it was a marriage of convenience and she doesn't really love him I don't think , Bruno who is the German officer is kind to lucile and they get together he tells her that he feels closer to her than his own people and they fall in love , but because of their backgrounds it is very difficult for them to be together but they try, lucile has to help a friend escape because he killed another German officer and Bruno finds out about this but he ends up helping her get across the border and the movie ends with her driving off with her injured friend and Bruno looking on in her rear view mirror with her narrating that she never saw him again , the ending is quite sad because they really did love each other I think but don't let that put you off it's a beautiful movie with lots of great scenes 😉 xxxx

je lis en ce moment ce roman de Irène Némirovsky ( La Suite francaise) . Ce qui est absolument triste est que Irène était arreté par les Nazis en juillet 1942 et qu'elle est morte un mois après dans un camp de concentration

Sorry honey I give heavy news of Rom Augustine my Dad Joel Augustine Father who passed away November 30th of 2022 he's also knew of U threw me please tell your daughter thanks for your mother's influence threw u that this couldn't of happened thanks for your trust in me including yourself and your family I still have to pay for a yearn so I can get piece for my dad who adopted me & sis bro in early 70's or 80's but don't wanna get into the darkest moments of my life but it's about my dad who saved me from the abuse including my real mother Jan
