He couldn't give them his number directly but he could give it to Harvey at any point.
@davidh46532 ай бұрын
In real life, the state bar isn't going to let you off of an ethics violation because you claim you were just giving the number to Harvey and happened to write it on a board where all the plaintiffs could see. It's obvious what his intent was and he would 100% get in trouble with the bar. Suits is still fun, and well acted. But in terms of the actual practice of law, it's nothing like this.
@lilwoowoowoozie92422 ай бұрын
@@davidh4653 really all I was saying is why can't Tanner write in a straight line and why did he scrawl his # on the board like that??😂😂😂He said he isn't allowed to talk to Harvey directly I guess bc of a TRO or w/e so that's why he talked loud like he was talking to the plaintiffs

I know it's a show and they have to spice it up but the maneuver where tanner addresses "Harvey" in the meeting instead of his clients would not only not fly, but would land any lawyer that tried it at least with a report to the bar association and at most with criminal charges. Fun to watch in the show for drama though.
