SUJI - 2 CUP
MILK - 1 CUP
FLOUR - 1/2 CUP
BAKING POWDER - 1 TSP
BAKING SODA - 1/2 TSP
MILK - 1/3 CUP
LEMON JUICE - 1 TSP

Tried out this recipe just today. It's absolutely perfect, Thank You. The cake is soft and delicious. However, one must note that the flame is really low and it may not be available to all (like me). To avoid the cake getting burnt, I placed a Tawa underneath while baking the cake and it took around 45-50 minutes. One may also use other methods such as placing the container in a stand in the Kadai (Check other recipes).

@@mehakgupta7640 Just keep the kadai on top of a tawa if the flame is not so much low as shown in the video. Or else use the method of placing a stand in the kadai with the cake batter in another container. Many videos are available in this channel itself.

I placed tawa but still my cake was burnt. I kept the flame vry low & baked it for 30 mins only. It cooked inside also but a bit layer was burnt. Can I know the mistake I did?

40-50 Min's of cooking time on direct heat..??? It'll burn from the bottom... N I don't think top part will be as brown as displayed in the video.

@@nibeditakujur9822 First, with the measurements told, the mixture of rava and milk was very dry. Then i added more milk to make it consistent. They told to cook for more time but cake was baked within 15 mins. And it did not even slightly looked like the cake in the video.

I tried it last evening and it tastes so good..Only thing I changed is I didn't had baking soda or powder so I added Eno instead...and also I added one packet of Oreo biscuits (grinded) to the batter while mixing it...The end result was awesome.. Thanks a lot..

You can add one small packet or even little less than that...But remember adding Eno should be the last thing and then immediately put the batter in pan..

It took only 15mins for me ... 45 50 mins not required 20 mins on low flame is sufficient

Onething I have noticed is u did not add tutti fruti on the butter paper side. Then how come it is present on the top of the cake after flipping it from the pan?

Tried this recipe with exact measurements. In less than 20 mins my cake was burnt from bottom. Not following their recipe anymore. FYI I used a thick bottom Kadhai

I think the recipe is good. Just don't do it in a kadhai next time. Do it in a cooker with pan inside. It should bake properly.

When I first tried my cake also burnt because of direct interaction of kadhai It was my mistake. After that I tried to put tawa on gas then put cooker with stand on tawa on low flame now my cake never burnt and came out so tasty.

I tried this recipe today the result was awesome. Nobody even got sick after eating my cake 😂. I placed the kadhai on tava and it took more than one hour for baking it completely. It tastes amazing 😋

Yes... Bt if u place butterpaper cake will demould easily... And u dont need to buy butterpaper from market, u can easily prepare it in home. I make butterpaper at home whenever I want to bake cake... It's super easy. But u should place butterpaper, cake will clearly come out from cake tin 😊

Thanks for sharing this recipe. My review: 1. Simply grease pan. Paper burn. 2. Use rose water, vanilla essence for butter milk if no 🍋. That's what I did. 3. I spiced with nutmeg and cinnamon 4. Topped with dried cranberries 5. Texture excellent GIVE IT A TRY!!

Iam sure that if we cook a cake on a cadai, Top of the cake will not come like this. There cake look like baked in an oven. Otherwise How they got Brown colour on the top. If we bake in a cadai like this the top will always remain white.

My_wish_ Pravallika Use plain white wheat flour as the recipe has baking powder and soda. I have tried this with wholewheat atta by sieving out some of the bran and adding 50ml extra liquid. And it worked!

I tried it but in a different manner.. I didn't use all purpose flour. I used corn flour 2 tblsp and suji and coconut,but the cake wasn't soft, coz of zero flour.. but it was really tasty bcoz of coconut flavour.

This recipe does not work. I prepared this yesterday... the lower part got almost blackish... and the upper part did not turn brown... the cake was not at all fluffy as shown here. Either the recipe ratio given is not correct or there is some other tip that was not shown in the video

सूजी में जिस कप से नापकर 02 कप सूजी ली थी क्या उसी कप से नापकर 01 कप दूध लेना है? क्योंकि मेरा सूजी का घोल इस नाप से उतना पतला नही हो पाता है जितना वीडियो में आपका दिखलाई पड़ता है। कृपया

I don't understand how does the top portion of cakes cooked in non-stick kadai gets brown color?

Bottom of the cake is brown and they just flipped the cake on the plate.

However I followed her recipes of cooking cake in kadai directly and got my cake burnt in 20 minutes in low flame.

@@amstardust1111sorry about that, try using a thicker kadai next time or place your kadai on a tawa, tawa will take excess heat and prevent your cake's base from burning

I made this cake today with the same ratio but it didn’t worked. The cake got burnt from bottom and uncooked in the middle. Totally disappointed!!!

If cakes burnt from bottom then plz do one think use tava n one that spread sand (normal ) evenly. Let it get warm thn place your cake pan. I hope you remember the conventional method of cake maker use to have small plate to keep sand thn cake pan. So that heat spreads evenly

I just made this, Alhamdulillah came out perfect. Didn’t use the kadaai though, baked it. Small thing; 1 cup of milk wasn’t enough for semolina paste. I would have used around 2 cups since it was so dry with 1 cup. Anyhow, I guess the milk quantity required differs for different types of semolina. I’m from Srilanka btw. Thank you so much Yummy for this recipe!❤️

Aap bilkul bhi Sim ie slow flame pe rakhein....and 30 mns Kay baad check Karna Shuru kijiye...Nahi jalega....use kadai ... don't use pressure cooker....try it again n see.....himmat na haarein

I followed ur recipie turned out good but, I insted of adding milk added roohafza syrup with water in it and jaggery insted of sugar. Vegetable oil and a sachet of eno.. Thats how i made lock down cake My dad a bro finished it ..😂😂

How come this came out so great? Mine got burnt at the base and sides. The butter paper got stuck to the base. I kept the flame low. All this within 15 minutes of switching on the flame.

It turned out really tasteless...only the sides of the cake was edible...the inside of the cake tasted like steamed Rava....because of this I unsubscribed
