Sukhoi Su-57 Felon Russian 5th Gen Stealth 1/48 by Zvezda - A Review

After weeks of kicking the can down the road, finally a review of #Su57 from Zvezda in 48th scale. Already a star in the upcoming #TopGunMaverick movie, Su-57 #Felon is quickly becoming one of the most interesting kits in quarter scale.
Even though not much can be expected from Zvezda, it is worth diggin' into the box to see what they came up with. There is no substitute for this kit in 48th scale. Kitty Hawk were planning a release, however not much was done on the matter, since the company's demise.
Even though Zvezda is far from a preferred manufacturer nowadays, this is the only option if you want to build the Felon.

Every hobby shop I deal with has deleted Zvezda from their inventory and catalogue as well as all other Russian manufacturers. I've got 2 Zvezda armour kits in my stash of russian tanks. I don't usually build models to represent damaged vehicles, but these 2 will toasty just the way all russian armor should be

I sure as hell stay away from anything made in Russia long before this war. Unfortunately I am painfully familiar with the quality and value of their products in general.

😄😄😄 If you want to support Russian economic , you need to buy oils, gas, metal, and etc. So that is why USA, Germany, France and others do that and will continue to do the same in the future.

Many have. I know people who do not buy German cars for the reasons you stated. Yes, this is a matter of preference. When you are talking weapons, politics being involved is inevitable. If you don't like it, there are always rainbow and dog videos.
