Are the menu prices the same throughout the day? Or do they have special prices at lunch hour?

dont bother, probably cost a fortune and the meat wasn't the highest quality, and the quality of the egg is pathetic to be charging such prices.

@@t9t9t9t9t9 Too bad, I really want to try out a sukiyaki place the next time I visit Japan. But there is also another place nearby that Mark Wiens visited.

@@msbrownbeast yea that one looks a lot better, as far as quality of food is concerned. may be a price difference, not sure.

@@t9t9t9t9t9 The place where Mark Wiens visited is also in Asakusa, inside one of the covered malls. A traditional place with a 100 year history where the guests has to leave their shoes at the front. They have lower prices at lunch. He ordered sukiyaki for 2, with special beef (wagyu) and the bill came to about 10,000 yen. That was in 2017, prices must be higher now, but definitely affordable for what it is and for the perceived quality. I've been to Japan several times and I've eaten sushi and ramen many, many times. While the sushi and ramen are crazy good in Japan (the best), I would like to expand the horizon a bit at the next visit, so gotta try out places that specializes in sukiyaki and unagi (eel)
