Sure, curses killing humans could be considered the natural thing to happen... just like a lion kills a deer, but most sorcerers on that universe don't kill curses just for the sake of it... they do it BECAUSE curses are killing other humans, it isn't comparable. It could make sense if you are too young or if you are living the world of animes more than the real one.

Let's be real: had Jogo used his Maximum: Meteor a few kilometers in the air, he might have actually fucked Sukuna up a bit. Too bad doing something like that would've been the equivalent of Goku trying to cast a spirit bomb at Frieza back on Namek. Sukuna would've probably decked him the moment he realized Megumi's life was in real danger. Cuz deadass, an object of that mass falling at hypersonic speeds would erase the whole prefecture.

It's crazy how this episode is a clear showing about how strong Jogo is. The dude created meteor, and flood so much with magma. He smashed buildings together, made the temperature rose everywhere, made people sweat from just being there. And yet, he still got demolished. This episode, was built to redeem Jogo's strenght, to make us understand that he is a real menace, and at the end, the only thing we have, is that a Sukuna that lacks 1/4 of his fingers absolutely played with him. Sukuna, is HIM. And the theme really went along with it, and you remix is top notch quality, I love it so much.

Wonderful Masterpiece, the words of Sukuna echoing through the second half of the soundtrack really adds to the overall fear factor it has, like Jogo is constantly remembering these words while fighting for his life to land one clean hit on Sukuna.

Just one hit…… If I can just get in one hit… then… Even if I die… We Can…… Win… -What Jogo was probably thinking when he accepted Sukuna’s challenge Honestly I think Jogo didn’t intend to survive when he accepted Sukuna’s offer, that look of clear determination on his face when he said “You’re true to your word.. yes?” Was practically screaming: “I don’t need to be the one laughing in the Wasteland 100 years from now” Jogo was prepared to give it his all, knowing full-well that he would die in the process. All so that Curses could have the future he envisioned. Jogo fought for Curses, instead of himself. That’s what Sukuna knew was holding him back. Jogo is a Cursed-Spirit. And like all Cursed-spirits, he acts as the living embodiment of a concept, a force that Humans grew to Curse. In his case that was Natural Disasters related to Fire: Volcanoes, Forest Fires, Meteors He was the personification of all of these calamities Sukuna may act like a Natural Disaster, but Jogo literally WAS one. And that made Sukuna all the more disappointed. For a Natural Disaster to act so strategically and meticulously, was to abandon their very nature as a Calamity and integrate with the Rabble That was what Sukuna saw, when he looked at Jogo. A Cursed spirit that had forgotten the very essence of what he personified. Sukuna knew better than anyone that comparing yourself to others around you stunts your growth and that in order to become truly strong, you need to cast away everything else, and focus solely on what your truest desire is at the time. That was the “Hunger” that Sukuna was talking about to Jogo The ability to seize your dreams and realize your potential, all without giving a flying f*ck what other people think. That was what Sukuna wanted to see from this Calamity that incarnated itself as a Cursed-Spirit…… But Jogo was unable to do that. He was unable to give Sukuna what he wanted and surrender himself over to his base instincts as a Curse… And that was why, he lost. His intellect and Sense of Self as a Cursed spirit caught him by so much of his attention that he couldn’t see past his own declared self-worth by Gojo Satoru… “Your weak!” That was not the Truth.. He knew that, but even so… Jogo couldn’t argue against it. He couldn’t argue against the one Sorcerer who had beaten him so easily and effortlessly that all he could do was watch while the World’s “Strongest” Sorcerer ripped his head off and interrogated him. So he took those words to heart, even when he shouldn’t have… and his self-worth lessened…… Jogo’s Pride as a Cursed-Spirit His Ambition His Truth… All of it was Crushed… And in the end, all he could do was accept it. Accept the fact that he would not be the one standing in the Wasteland a Hundred-Years from now… Accept that he was… “Weak” But he still didn’t give up… He still couldn’t let his Dream die… Jogo fought tirelessly… Schemed tirelessly… Worked himself and others within his group, tirelessly… Just so that he could see… The Wasteland where Curses thrived… Jogo fought not as a Cursed-Spirit should have, but instead as a Jujutsu Sorcerer. In fighting against his enemy, he had learned to behave like them, to act like them, to think like them… And that is why he scouted Geto Suguru… (or the man he believed him to be) Because he knew, that if anyone would know how to bring about the Age of Curses, it would be the man who held the Technique of Cursed spirit manipulation and the one and only Best Friend of the Strongest in the World: Satoru Gojo So he abided by Geto’s plans, he fulfilled his agendas and took Geto’s knowledge as Fact. He worked by his fellow Disaster Curses and even propped up Mahito as the leader of the group, because he knew that Mahito had the potential to become the strongest one out of them all… He allowed, all of this to happen, to just barely open up a chance, for his goal to come true… But in the end… Jogo was never a Weakling. He was an arrogant old fool sometimes, and he was hasty and hot-headed when it came to his goals… but he was never once a Coward. And certainly never weak. Be it in the physical or mental sense. Jogo was a Cursed-Spirit, and like all Cursed-Spirits he embodied something. Something feared and detested, something hated and praised, something rejected and Cursed. He was Fire… Jogo was Flame… made manifest from Humanity’s fears, hatreds, and Curses He was the Embers burning the old forests and the leaving the woods black and full of cinders… He was the Ash that filled the air and blotted out the skies, and the Magma that spilled forth from the Volcanoes zenith… He was the Meteor… That crashed unto out planet… and wiped out the species that we know as the Dinosaurs… He was all of these things, and yet, at the end of it all. He was also…… Human… He was Human. The one thing he wanted to be the most. Yet the also the one thing he detested the most… he was human because in his last moments he cried, showing he wanted appreciation and acknowledgment just like any other human-person. And… He was “Human”, because in his last moments he was true to himself and sacrificed everything he had to bring about an Age of Curses for his kindred to revel in Jogo was Human… in both the ways that Mahito described, and the way that he hated regular people acted. He was a True Successor to Humanity. That was him, Jogo The Cursed-Spirit of Blazing Disaster: Jogo The Infernal Elder The Curse that was acknowledged by the King of All Curses: Ryōmen Sukuna “Stand Proud. You were Strong.”

I really like this one, it works well with the previous jjk cover you made since it feels like with Sukuna's revival you decided to crank the tension up to 11 (which was already impressive considering how much tension the original piece has) and now in this cover there is less focus on tension than the original piece and more focus on the fast-paced elements and the intensity. kinda feels like the original versions were from a jujutsu sorcerer point of view (who were always kind of bystanders in that interaction besides that scene where Sukuna casually fucks with panda and friends), while your covers are from Jogo's point of view (where the fear and tension presumably were pushed aside for the sake of his goals, seeing as he chose to take Sukuna up on his offer) great cover as always, you've helped me power through 3 uni deadlines this month alone (with a fourth on its way haha) and even during less busy times your works are a great source of enjoyment for me, keep up the good work!
