Thank you! I listened to the entire review. Toni Morrison is fantastic and once you read the first novel you have to keep reading. But, you have to go back over and over again and read her with detail. I love the way you appreciate the novel.

I have just finished Sula today and this is the best video I found about the book. I felt the same way. At first I hated her...then I realized that now, as a 31 year old with no interest in marriage and children, wanting to live my life the way I want to, I would BE her (without the screwing my best friend's husband because...nope...) if I'd been born back then.

I totally agree, living in our truth even when it goes against some social norms is much more fufilling and authentic. I have another Toni Morrison book review coming this November

The book is called Song of Solomon, I reccomened it. I have also read the bluest eye, that was my introduction to Toni Morrison. Let me know if you read them and what your thoughts are🙏🏿

For me it was challenging at first but when you get stuck in, its delicious. Plus there is a 3 part audio on yt🎊
