Princess Isabella has an accident while she's trying to escape and holds his ankle on the ground in pain. Sultan Suleiman picks her up and gets her on his horse. On the other hand, Princess' fiance Prince Frederick receives Gritti's letter. Prince Frederick learns that his fiancee is sold to Sultan Suleiman by the pirates. He's determined that he will save the princess from him.
Sümbül Aga goes to the Hunting Lodge oftenly to serve Princess Isabella. Gül Aga doesn't know about the Hunting Lodge and the princess. That's why he becomes suspicious that Sümbül Aga gets out of harem. Hürrem wants Gül Aga to learn where Sümbül Aga is going.
Bali Bey goes to tavern with Matrakçı and learns that Gritti closed it for himself. Bali Bey and Gritti gets in a a fight at the first time they've met. İbrahim Pasha hears about the fight.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Frankly I really liked Mustafa from MC during season 1 when he was a teenager we could identify with him (after he became Mustafa sue, so boring). More historically, some sources described him as jealous when he was a child of Ibrahim and probably of people close to Suleiman because the poor boy was quite neglected by his father despite his requests for attention (like the fact that he wanted Suleiman to give him the same gift that Ibrahim received) . So I can see the historical child Mustafa was trying to do some stupid things about his age to get his father's attention (no wonder that historical Mahidevran had remove some governess to take care of him when it was not in the tradition she probably wanted to compensate for the lack of love his father had for him, just like historical Turhan would do with her son because of Ibrahim the mad )

Such a sinister grin on Hurrem's face. This scene is supposed to represent Suleyman gradually devolving into his cruel, sadistic father, and this is how Hurrem reacts? This is a new low, even for Hurrem. Just goes to show she was like this even in her young years. And, she's the protagonist, we're supposed to root for? Pathetic!
