Hurrem isn’t stupid, she knows that marrying mihrimah to rustem is the best choice for mihrimah. Actually, this marriage thing was planned by the aunts who think they’re white as sheets, to make mihrimah refuse strongly rustem and then make her marry their servants who is loyal to them. Now, which choice is better ? Marrying someone hypocritical, acting against you and your family’s benefit or someone who loves you unconditionally, who would die for you and is extremely loyal to you and your mother and family, who have for goal your happiness? The second right ? And actually, I don’t like the way the writer wrote rustem and mihrimah relationship, I wonder how you can end up hating someone who is trying his best to shower you with love, who respect you and cares for you in every manner, who brings you tranquility and stability in your home. In the end you can’t help fall in love, if that were not the case, how did marriage before work. You can’t really blame Hurrem here…
