Back in the summer of 1979, I rented a room at the Pi Lambda Phi fraternity at The University of Massachusetts. Just for the summer. At the end of the summer, Tom Sullivan, his father and some of his brothers came to get the place ready for the upcoming school year. Tom was so personable! He told me he and his family were going to be on Family Feud. I said I thought that was pretty darn cool. He was incredulous that I believed him. He said nobody believed him. I said “Somebody’s got to be on Family Feud!” So, I was trying to find an image of the Family Feud set and found the Sullivan Family. God bless you, Tom and your family as well.

Steve Yeager appeared on Hot POtato, a game show a little bit like Family Feud, in 1984 in an all celebrity week for charity. He appeareed with WIlt CHamberlain and Kurt THomas on his team, playing against three recent Miss AMericas, including a pre-scandal Vanessa Williams.

It’s awesome watching an episode of Family Feud from its original ABC run with commercials. This is a rare find because most of the episodes are from GSN or Buzzr on here. I’m shocked there’s not a ticket plug on here.

Nice little find, was looking for an episode with Steve Yeager, discovering he was on it conventionally after seeing him in an All-Star episode from 1983 or 4 years later and found this. Thanks for posting! Interesting as a sidenote that Dawson did a variation on what Ray Combs did in his version of Feud later after the solo FM win, except using the real questions vs. making them up. I wonder if he ever did that either before or after this, I doubt it. Pretty neat to see in any case, did not expect it.
