Great piece of work. Superb cinematography, great craic and a cracking concept for showcasing all that is best about our winter. Every 5 seconds of silky 120fps of a mountain hare captured must almost make the hours of freezing your arse off worth it.
@belugalagoonfilms86208 жыл бұрын
Thanks Rob. Yeah, always worth it in the end. There were times we wished the mountain hares lived somewhere a little warmer. I'm yet to find a pair of gloves you can operate a camera with properly!

Being an English lad it's quite amazing to see a different side to Scotland other than what most people tend to come out with like Bagpipes and Haggis etc, it's nice to see snow covered mountains and frozen lochs and amazing wild life, the highlands really are a place of beauty and I look forward to the day I get to venture out there myself, especially up Ben Nevis as i'm aiming to do my Mountain Leader award and Mountain Instructor award. Lovely video buddy :)

This is superb. Absolutely superb. Scotland truly is the most beautiful part of the United Kingdom, and I really cannot wait to take a year out to explore the place. I adore it. Absolutely fantastic video showcasing the most beautiful corner of the world. And the fact I live only 50 miles away, across the Irish Sea... it's painfully close yet inconvenient. You earned yourself a subscriber and an admirer.

Thank you Scott. That really kind of you and I hope you get across to explore soon!

It was amazing i wish i could write with words how peaceful i felt. The music also so warm and so amazing songs. Im doing the same with a smaller van in my country when everyone hides from the winter i make my way up. I wish i was younger in age so i could go and live in Scotland as it was always my dream but no regrets i visited Scotland 4 times saw amazing places and meet even more amazing people. Bless you all for the amazing work and effort.

Man, thank you for this great documentary! It brought back all the feels & yearning for Scotlands beautiful scenery, especially for Skye. The Fairie Glen is a fantastic place, isn't it? No wonder people used to believe the Little Folk was living there. You did the Spiral wrong though, you are supposed to walk it backwards, and if you manage to reach the center without tripping over any of the rocks, you can make a wish. ;-) I especially liked the many slow-motion recordings in this film, they made the wildlife look even more breathtaking. Also, I would love to know the name of the artist who made the music. I know it says "Andrew O'Donnell" in the credits, but I can't find any music of him on KZbin or Spotify. Did he "just" compose the instrumental themes, or did he also sing the lyrics of the songs? Whoever the singer is, I LOVE his voice, and I would really love to know where to find his music. Maybe you could tell me? Best wishes from Germany!
@belugalagoonfilms86207 жыл бұрын
Thanks! We will remember to walk backwards next time! "Beluga Lagoon" is a musical project as well as a visual one created by Andrew O'Donnell. The music hasn't been officially released for purchase as such. But you can listen here - Listen to Sullivan's Winter Soundtrack by Beluga Lagoon #np on #SoundCloud soundcloud.com/beluga-lagoon/sets/sullivans-winter-soundtrack
