It is a scene nicely put together. Very well acted battle reenactment. The characters transmitted the horrors, anxiety and emotions of the battle. The history of humanity is almost made out of conquest by means of wars. Every time I ponders on stories like this, I remember the essay by the late Carl Sagan, "Pale Blue Dot: "Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot"

@@BajwaniYahya LOL stop the cap. The Ottomans started a war against the Safavids and asked the Mamluks for help. The Mamluks opted not to interfere. Also, the Mamluks asked for help from the Ottomans to help fight the Portoguese naval power, which came at first then ceased all of a sudden for no reason. Those were the two major factors in how the Mamluk state declined besides the Ottoman buying for people like Khayir Bey to betray the Sultan. Even then the Ottomans were about to lose in the Battle of Ridaniya and Sultan Selim could have perished but he got lucky.
