@@LuckyVillain419 "not Beyonce star level"? Avril Lavigne was much more successful than Beyonce back then. Her debut album alone had sold more than 16 million copies worldwide. Sales figures that Beyonce could only have dreamed of. "Girlfriend" was also the most successful song worldwide in 2007. Maybe Beyonce was bigger in the US but she never had the same international success as Avril.

Johnhitbox imo opinion those movies killed the genre. Oversaturated too many sequel type movies using the same soundtrack over and over again. I mean sure they were fun raunchy teen comedies but eventually there was just too much.

I think you're hittin' the sweet spot as far as music genres for her. Punk seems to be up her alley. Might consider Simple Plan, Green Day, The Offspring, and Rise Against in the future.

I'm only 11-12 and how much I would KILL to see Sum 41 again. I saw them a month ago in May. When they played Fatlip in concert, so much moshing. I was right next to it and grown men helped me not get hurt, though I was kicked in the head by a crowd surfer. Definitely the best night of my life! I also saw simple plan with them. BEST. NIGHT. EVER. Sum 41 is Definitely my favorite band.

Takes me back to the spring/summer of 2001. Weezer just released “the green album”, Blink just released TOYPAJ and Sum 41 released this gem. What a great summer. Oh and let’s not forget the classic American Pie 2.

I got goosebumps watching this!! 👏🏼 This song was EVERYTHING when it came out in 2001. I remember buying the All Killer No Filler album. Endless summers, skating all day.. Such a Sum41 Fan! This is the essence of the band at that time. I would have suggested showing Still Waiting and In Too Deep as that trio really give you the vibe and sprit of it all! Prefer this to the new stuff. Late 90's/2000 punk/pop punk. How about a little Basket Case reaction?

omg these were the days, I remember this song being played at the last high school soccer game we won in the playoffs my senior year. it was on pregame and we were just launching warm up shots over the goal pissing our coach off because this was a rebellious song. we were a funny ass team man lol thanks for these memories

yeahhh I really hope he's not kidding himself thinking a tiktok teen is gonna be into something that's from an Era that's too recent to be vintage yet too old to be on trend in any way at all. Stick with vintage 60's-80's stuff and how about you react to some TikToks she likes? Then when she's 18 or so, the 2000's might be retro and some elements of it will resurface around then
