I’m 25 now married, house and planning for a family. A healthy routine keeps the darkness at bay but I come back to songs like this to remember how far I’ve come. This song was playing on the radio, luckily I was with my mother. Immediately I asked her "hey mom what's this song called" "sum 41 - pieces" that was 2017, but ever since it reminds me of that moment - I was staying at my aunties going through trauma and it's what I needed at the time my aunty is narcissistic to me and my mother, I'm 20 and very thankful I got to repair me and my mothers relationship I don't judge her 💖
