Whelp, you just unwittingly described the problem with line array PA systems. They are long narrow bands of speakers set too far apart from each other with subs across the front pummeling you with kick drum. So the first few rows are going to just get assaulted with stage volume drums and a low end rumble. As you can see, they try to embellish it with a few mid-high speakers across the lip of the stage but it doesn’t help much. I hate the state of sound reinforcement now.
