I love Suman Ji's melodious voice. It is crisp ... not sugary and syrupy like the "Big Sister's." She is one of the most gifted and talented artists of our times, but she did not get the due recognition that she so well deserved. Sadly, she fell victim to the monopoly of a certain family, which, in addition to her, also destroyed careers of other promising singers such as Mubarak Begum, Vani Jairam, Meenu Purushottam and Krishna Kalle. However, she has (and forever will have) a unique place in the hearts of millions of her fans. 🙏🥰🙏

I like Suman jee very much since she started singing in the year 54 ,in this year my date of birth is there. Actually I am a Maharashtrian Shimpi from Pune but settled down at Hyderabad. As my favorite movie was suraj in that itna haibtum se pyar mujhe, and dekho Mera dil machal gaya. These song almost I remember and song myself which was picturised on vijayntimala and favorite hero was Rajender kumar. I have seen the movie suraj more than 200 times right from 1966 as on till date either on t v Zee classic you tube and other channel's. Luv you Suman tai. God bless you. As such now Lata tai is no more hence in her place pl sing the songs in future atleast I can remember Lata tai & you very close when you sing . God bless you all the best.
