I am a great fan of Suman jee but she is a shadow of Lata jee and shadows can't supersede the originals. Lata jee is far polished, hence far ahead. Yes Suman jee was a prey to competition, otherwise she had the quality and capability to sing man many more songs inspite of Lata jee's brilliance and she had to be content with whatever she got in her stride. Probably more opportunities would have polished her more, but she should not be compared to Lata jee's brilliance. Even we have to be content with and enjoy whatever limited treasured memories she has left behind. She is no more. May her soul rest in peace.

@@noorbano3840 : You are correct Mohtarma, i also thinking earlier that, this spiritual song has sung by Legendary Lata ji, but futher known that it is sung by Legendary Singer Suman Kalyanpur ji, i wondered how she has sung this melody beutifully, we can't judge easily wheather it is sung by Suman ji or Lata ji ? I thing Suman Kalyanpur was also a telented singer, i remember, during fraction between Legened Rafi Saheb and Lata ji, due to the issue of royalty, at that time, Rafi Saheb and Suman Kalyanpur ji has sung so many duets together and they were also very much popular, but unfortunately Suman Kalyanpur ji does not recieve actual honour from the Film industry at that time.

lata had destroyed so many nightingales, never given much of a chance to them, including, Mubarak Begum, Suman Kayyanpur, Sulakahana Pandit, and many more of the same caliber to match lata. When lata stopped singing with THE GRAT RAFI SB, due to their differences in royalties, then these great singers had more of a chance for playback singings. lata has BEEN a very jealous person in her life, including with her own sister ASHA.
