@16:50 Polar body and secondary oocyte will have same number of chromosomes because they are products of meiosis also if secondary oocyte will have any more than 23 chromosomes (humans) it will lead to chromosomal anomalies. @Shomu's Biology

Attachment of sperm with egg occurs at the fallopian tube. That creates d zygote. This moves through the fallopian tube. The cleavage occurs at d fallopian tube. After blastula is formed ,it contains trophoblast nd embryoblast, the zygote sheds of zona pellucida and gets attached to d ciliated wall of uterus( not attached in d fallopian tube) and then further deveolopment like placentatn will take place. Very nice informative video. Thank u for doing this.

Very good overview, it is really helpful! But isn't it a MEIOTIC arrest in prophase I of the primary oocytes after birth? You wrote "mitotic" and now I am confused..
@deepshikhayadav4999
@deepshikhayadav4999 7 жыл бұрын
hi dear you are right, the arrest occurs after diplotene phase of prophase 1 of meiosis 1. During this arrested phase of development, the primary oocyte is surrounded by a layer of follicle cells and the oocyte along with the follicle cells is termed as primordial follicle. This primordial follicle further begins to develop and gets surrounded by multiple layers of follicle cells known as granulose cells, the oocyte also develops a thick ZONA PELLUCIDA layer and a basal lamina to separate it from the other cells in the ovary. So don't get confused I hope I cleared your doubt. Also meiosis 1 will get completed only when puberty hits and by the stimulation of the gonadotropins (Leiutinizing hormone and follicle stimulating hormone) which stimulate ovulation. The process of ovulation will then trigger the completion of meiosis 1 and finally the formation of the first polar body and secondary oocyte which will then undergo meiosis II to develop into a mature egg and second polar body. I really hope this helps :)

Sir during spermatogenesis a man produces huge numbers of sperm in their life cycle and they have similar gene sequences similarly incase of women they releases total oocyte in their life cycle during menstruation are also similar in their gene sequences so why the first offspring and second offspring (except identical twins) shows genetic and morphologic variation even they were produced From same gene combination? Sir এটা কেন হচ্ছে যদি clearly bolen toh khub valo hai🙏🥰
