I say blame the game devs before the players. It is not Ken's fault that Sonic and Smash Ultimate rewards such campy and defensive gameplay. It's the fault of Sakurai, the dev and design team and Nintendo for hating Melee for no good reason.

I think good change to sonic would be to make it where he can't cancel his specials with aerials. So toxic watching the fastest change not have to commit. Also remove the frames from the specials. There's no actual reason it's there.

Yes he shouldn't be able to cancel his specials with aerials. Ultimate in general has the worst gameplay design choices ive seen in a fighting game in so long. Camping in this game is the worst its been in any smash title

Seems fair if they buff spincharge. That way skilled Sonics can stay strong. Also revert the spindash nerfs he took coming into Ult (can’t cancel into shield, I-frames start later, spinshot timing less free-form). That way spindash is all of your movement and mixups while spincharge is your burst attack.
