This is so beautiful!!!! Thank you for sharing with us! I got to know this song because I had to make a choral work based on this song. It turned out to be one of the few things I wrote I actually like. You can learn a lot about canons to the unison with this.

Fantasic work! I prefer the interpretation of Sumer is icumen in to be less legato and more marcato to give it that bouncy feel. Like, a group of Pilgrims singing to pass the time on the road to Canterbury feeling. No disrespect intended, though. Fantastic timbre and a good balance between the first and second flute parts, and the harp and symphonie really kick it to the next level!

MODERN flutes?! Shocking! What contradictions.................
@andrewquirey73644 ай бұрын
Not very authentic regarding the flutes it would have been more fitting with recorders or whistle type flutes there's 700 years in it.

If you decided to perform 13th century music with 12th centur-ish costumes, why didn't you even try to emulate an actual bliaud using a different kind of a belt? Combining these sleeves with a 14th century silhouette and belt is just so wrong. It wouldn't cost you much affort to make these costumes much less inaccurate.

Haha I thought you were going to complain about the modern flutes.
