Bro, when this song came out a couple of years. I was in an abusive situation with my parents. They both would never admit to their faults with me but had to complain about every mistake I had ever made. Even from a younger age it got as bad as screaming with such intense rage. I believed I was the problem, I ketp trying to fix this problem I thought I was and everyday almost was never really lived cause I was over thinking so much about the stress that I couldn't make my family happy or proud of me and my parents would make threats towards themselves like " I should just slit a vain in boiling hot water!" I told myself I deserved that instead cause I ketp seeing them upset everyday and I never thought that my parents could be in the wrong. So I started cutting myself out of angry of my own actions. It got so bad I started believing there was nothing I could do and I put myself in many dangerous stituations that were close calls. I come to find out years later. It's not my job to maintain my parents happiness. It's not my fault that they yelled at me so often and insulted me that I started to believe these horrible things about myself. Sleeping with Sirens was and always has been the one thing I went to calm down and relax my thoughts. When I was sorta of understanding that I was not the issue, this song came on and made me cry so much. Especially the line "Your not alone!!!!" Ketp pushing me forward to now to move out as soon as I could to start a life I can call my own now. ❤

So happy to see them return to their roots. Madness was the last album I listened to by them, and even that was meh for me. For me, Gossip was just not it at all, which was disappointing because SWS has been one of my favorite bands for ages now. Seeing them return to that heavy, modern-emo sound is so refreshing!! Kellin’s vocals and screams on this are outstanding. So excited for this album!
