Rukkhadevata is a part of Irminsul, that's the whole reason why she had to be erased in order to fully eliminate the forbidden knowlodge. Nahida is the most pure branch from the tree, being, in some sort of way, Rukkhadevata, while also being herself. Dendro and nature are tied to this concept of death and life circles.

One of my first ever theories in sumeru was that kusanali and rukkhadevata was the same person or was like some kind of reincarnation, i told this to my friend and he said it was possible but a lot of shows and games already did this plot so i just kinda doubted it a lil so you can just imagine the joy and surprise i felt when i saw that cut scene and the realization that my theory was right 😭

man i still love that last cutscene for for this act. i think some people got confused and distracted but the guy narrating king dehret and rukkhadevata is the last priest of King Deshret. Alhaitham was translating it to the rest of the cast. which fun fact, he was able to do because when he was a student, he had a joint project with Kaveh to understand King Deshret's language and architecture. they both worked on it and both are able to read king deshret's ancient language, but since Alhaitham's darshan is Haravatat, basically the linguistics department, it's safe to say that it was his main responsibility to try and dechipher the language. which is so fcking awesome because it really puts into perspective how much Alhaitham was needed for us to complete Sumeru.

People have been saying why didn't al haitham use his vision against cyno and also why didn't cyno use his? The answer is al haitham is no match to cyno when it comes to combat, he didn't feel the need to even use his vision against al haitham but when we talk about al haitham, cyno made sure he couldn't use his vision, so the gist is cyno chooses to not use it, whereas alhaitham was not given a chance to use it

truly looking back, the cyno vs alhaitham fight is so funny because they're both mutual friends of kaveh and yet they're still strangers lmao. like kaveh is friends with tighnari and often have dinner with tighnari, collei, and cyno when they're in ganhdarva ville, and it's implied that this little get together has been a thing for a while. with cyno specifying how kaveh always complains about alhaitham, making them all laugh. and considering kaveh and alhaitham are roommates (and complicated friends) and alhaitham knows kaveh's friends, noting that he knows tighnari only bc he was kaveh's friend who helped him out with various things. so then is it not extremely funny that in the archon quest, alhaitham knows that cyno is kaveh's friend and cyno knows how messy of a roommate alhaitham is from kaveh 💀💀 alhaitham mentions after the cutscene that him and cyno have never actually talked before, so why would cyno attack him. meanwhile cyno is standing there with the knowledge that kaveh has complained about every detail of alhaitham to oblivion to him without alhaitham knowing.

Spoiler Nahida is the reincarnation of rukkhadevata, not the same person. First dendro archon died protecting irmunsul(forgot the spelling), died there and Nahida was born. The phrase "To save the world, forget me" means literally what it is. Nahida uses irmunsul to save everyone at the cost of everyone forgetting first dendro archon exists, so they all thought Nahida was the dendro archon from the start. Saw this leak, I think Rukkhadevata died in her child form or she regained her form after awhile and died at irmunsul
