Initially Ei was planning on getting rid of him but she felt that she owes him something so she lem him roam free with his powers sealed. But on Scara's perspective he was abandoned because he was a failure but was actually not. If Ei just just told him what clearly happed maybe he wouldn't be so deranged now.

Yea yea, Ei didn't abandoned him, instead she wanted to give him freedom but she didn't said anything to him causing a BIG misunderstanding (that's why communication is important) besides, he was like a child back then so that was basically letting a child live on their own more than giving freedom

Ok we ALL understand that Ei didn't abandoned him, but thanks to the lack of communication he thought that she discarded him bc he was very weak and sensible, also bc he was basically 'abandoned' as a child (u can't look at me and tell me he wasn't basically a child) he couldn't understand how life works thanks to him being able to age more than humans and not understanding it (it was a murder? Probably yes, but he couldn't have understand or know abt it (maybe yes but its more difficult trying to share my point if I want it to be short)) Summary of scaraboob's back story, u need communication in ur life and punch Ei's face; Ei, ik ur friends and sister died but don't think everyone can read ur mind and know ur intentions

Aether forgetting what Yae Miko told him. Yes she abandoned him but atleast she didn't discard him, if she did scaramouche would be a scrap of metal but instead of doing that she let him free but sealed his power within. Scara is that kid who misunderstood things. Also Ei gave him emotions to be just like a human and she let it stay that way. Edit: She let him roam the inazuman city and the fatui took interest on him and now we got misunderstanding idiot scaramouch... I hate people misunderstanding things not all misunderstanding people mostly the one that becomes someone who wants revenge because of a simple misunderstanding mistake.

i mean, its not like he was anything by himself before ei discarded him. he was discarded simply because he had emotions. she didn't want him to have those since he was meant to be a puppet. of course he would think that she abandoned him, she never gave him any other reason as to why. it wasn't a misunderstanding, it was miscommunication on ei's part

Ei didn't abandon him. He is an immature & misunderstood character but that is what makes him fairly unique from other characters. Ei only wanted what was best for him because she didn't want to get rid of him because it was cruel so she just sealed the power within kuni and made him be an adventurer (as what was said in the story quest) !!
