For fellow English speakers, apparently the girls are holding fishes(salmon) because salmon in Japanese is Sake(鮭) which seems similar to Shake! It’s a pun😂 I only realised thanks to the JP comments

I just wanted to comment but saw this, I was amused lol mine was thanks to Yuuko's nichijou for her "Stupid" pun combo missing the hit on her friends lol

totally correct! And also shake (しゃけ) is literally salmon in some Japanese dialects.

I literally do not understand a word sung in this song but everyone is up there having a good time and you don't need to know Japanese to understand that this is a happy-feel-good song
@Lethiqa3 жыл бұрын
A lot of Japanese songs can sound happy and feel good but turn out to be about suicide. So don't assume it's always the case, but yeah this is definitely a banger (Edit: I'm not saying this is about suicide. Just saying I didn't realize the meaning of certain songs that sound so cheerful were so dark. And ur absolutely right about them having a great time)
