I didn't mean ill will to you tho, I simply found it funny that you chose Megidolaon. Everyone has their preference, since in a damage for cost comparison, Megidolaon is actually better than Morning Star

Gameplay wise is a different story though. My joker ravaged cendrillion in 2 to 3 turns with akechi as support with debilitate and tyrant's wiill. Yoshitsune btw.

@@kingcamelot1395 Personally, I would think that it'd make clearing Maruki's Palace extremely harder. Say that Joker didn't get through to them; He'd have to clear the place with only three other members, because I think Morgana would still come back despite everything (and assuming Violet joins) or just two other members (Morgana and Akechi). Of course, when Maruki is defeated and everything goes back to normal; Morgana relays to the thieves that while they were off in their fantasies; Joker was busy saving the goddamn world. They'd be horrified, naturally. I also think that this would cause a bit of a schism in his relationship with the others; because to him it might have meant that while Joker thought of the others as his dearest friends; they apparently didn't see him in that light. Or, if Joker did get to them but they didn't want to leave; maybe Maruki would approach them and tell them what Joker was doing; that's where clearing Maruki's palace gets much, much harder. They won't accept the truth in words? Joker's going to have to beat it into them. Their personas will return; albeit with the stipulation that they're more akin to shadows. By that, I mean they've gone berserk, much like Cendrillon in this boss fight. Joker would have to fight his teammates one by one in order to get past certain points in Maruki's palace, starting from Ryuji at the stairwell (where Sumire has her true awakening) and ending with Haru at the elevator to the garden. If Sumire still refuses to join, Sumire is the last boss at the garden. She'd awaken properly there, I guess. I get that gameplay wise there wouldn't be this many bosses, but I think it would add a certain sense of urgency and dread that the people you've come so far with have suddenly decided to drop you; all for the sake of living happy lies. Of course, after Joker beats them, they'll come back to the party. Their third-tier persona events will still play out, but I imagine they'll be much more apologetic about their actions; considering that they let their desires take control of them instead of upholding their promise to stand by Joker. These are very rough ideas. And yeah; all this could have played out so much more differently. (Sorry for the wall of text, btw ;;)

This is the hardest boss in the game on merciless because there is a high chance the first Sword Dance crits and just insta kills you. Took me 3 attempts just to not get crit by the first attack

The AI ain't stupid on merciless mode, she one shot me 4 times in a row when I played this on merciless for the first time, and when I finally got a turn cuz she didn't one shot me, I immediately switched personas from Izanagi to....I think it was Rhaoul if I can remember.

That isn't actually what happens. Sumire is the only one who thinks she is Kasumi. You find this out when her father says her name on New Years and it kinda cuts out but you hear "...mire" or something like that. Also her gymnastics coach had been telling her to stop trying to be someone she isn't (Kasumi) when Sumire thought she meant something else when she actually meant to stop trying to be like Kasumi and to instead be herself.

Literally the worse character for the second half of this disappointing game... It's already bad enough that she caused her twin sister to die in a car accident when Kasumi risked her life trying to save her ungrateful self. And now she wants to replace her twin sister's existence in Maruki's alternate reality as well? The only chance where she can make things right? Even after ALL the time her twin sister took care of her with no hint of burden? What a selfish b#$%. Sumire doesn't deserve a lick of sympathy for how trash her character was. Royal being a lazy half-arse cash grab copy of vanilla P5 with features that we should've gotten in the original already left a bad taste in my mouth, but having to go through this poor excuse of a character's backstory is even worse...
