I remember drinking OG 4 loco for the first time, before all the news. At the store I noticed on the can the companies name was "Drink 4 Enterprises" I thought it was a sly way to recommend that the customer drink 4 to get a nice buzz. So I bought 4 and I drank 4. I can't remember much but, I woke up lying on my back with puke all over my shirt and face and my house looking like an angry blind person ran through it. I'm lucky I didn't asphyxiate on my own vomit. Never again.

To be honest, its a totally reasonable lawsuit.. i drink one Reign a day, 300mg caffeine, no sugar. I dont drink any more in a day because even with high tolarance it definitely hits me..400 is WAY more than that plus a metric shit ton of sugar, she never stood a chance with that medical condition when they didnt remotely make it clear the drink was like doing an eight ball haha. I drink 150-225mg of caffeine a day with a heart condition and it seems to have no effect on my blood pressure these days but 300mg and I’m like 150/90 turns out being at or above the LD50 makes a big difference

The kinder thing actually has to do with a food package law that’s says you can’t have non edible items inside food. So the candy egg having a non edible toy inside of it is illegal in America, at least that’s what I remember researching 5 or so years ago when I realized kinder eggs were banned. We now have a new version that is much better. The eggs split in half and one side of the plastic shell is a hazelnut truffle with chocolate cream and the other half is a sealed and packaged toy. Aside from it being safer it also tastes much better.

Caffeine is not the worst drug by any means, but we need better knowledge around tolerance and dosage. Caffeine is a drug just like alcohol or THC and we need to set age appropriate limits. And I don't mean 21+ but the exact opposite. Low but reasonable dosages for teens.

I'm a cardiology nurse and I happen to work in a hospital that has a Panera bread attached. There are so many of my fellow HEALTH CARE WORKERS that I've talked to while they had a Panera lemonade in their hands that did not know that said lemonade was caffeinated. As a side note: 400 mg of caffeine is recognized by the American Heart Association as the daily limit of caffeine that one should have without suffering ill effects. I know people who drink several a day. This lemonade won't be served much longer, guaranteed.

I’ve been working at a coffee shop for 4 years now, turns out, (in the US) there is no legal limit for how much caffeine you can put in a drink and sell to someone. I used to work at a panera and they had a gigantic thing on the wall listing all of the ingredients they don't use in their food because they're supposed to be healthy or whatever, then when there was that recall on lettuce due to e. coli a couple years back they had us throw the unused lettuce in the dumpster but keep using the opened stuff, then when we ran out in the middle of dinner the management freaked out and had somebody fish a box out of the dumpster to use for the rest of the shift. right before I quit we got a memo from corporate saying that we were supposed to start keeping the day old cookies and reuse them the next day for delivery or pickup, cuz those people were less likely to notice.

There used to be a to be a ton of 4Loco type drinks out there, I can’t recall the names but one of them had cans were were orange and silver and looked vaguely like a battery. This would have been around 2008-2009, when the booze and energy drink craze was just hitting its heights. Honestly if I wanted to get black out drunk I’d rather have a Jaegerbomb (insert 2009 meme here) or if I was feeling the need to vomit in a stairwell perhaps a Vegas bomb. Vodka Red Bulls and Irish Trash Cans are pretty good night Enders too. MRE’s are packed with heavy calories too, they are designed to meet the nutritional needs of warfighters. Seeing people eat them two or three times a day in a civilian setting is brutal! that’s like 16,000 calories
