Ans 15. Let original speed is 100 then dec speed is 80 and Inc speed is 160. By mixture allegation...80 --100--160 so it will give time ratio which is 60:20 or 3:1. And ratio of speed is 80 : 160 which is 1:2.Multiple time ratio with speed ratio we get 3:2. Put 3:2 as 5x = 200..which will give 40..so increase distance is 2*40= 80 answer

Sir @3:21:34 , we can apply the formula for 1st case separately and 2nd case separately and equate both the distances which gives us original speed. And if we substitute in any of cases we get the distance.

In the 5th question at around 30:00 the travelling speed of train is 40% faster than that of car. But can we include the stopping time at different stations of train. If we include then the question would have been that the avg speed of train is 40% faster than that of car. But since avg speed is not given we have to consider only the travelling speed of train as 7 and travelling speed of car as 5 which gives only travelling time ratios which are 7 for car and 5 for train. Then the difference (2 parts) can't be made equal to 25 min. Na?? If anyone understands my doubt . PLZZ explain me.

Sirji,ek doubt hai(solve using ratio method): If a person decreases its speed by 15kmph,then it takes 45 hours more than usual time,and if it increases its speed by 10 kmph,then it takes 20hours less.find the distance travelled?? Want the answer but in ratio without solving any equation .
