bhai i won't be able to explain it to you entirely here... but remember in fix chunks(or gaps) of time... particular years CI as well as Amount follows same ratio... i.e. R = 10% P = 10000 then 1Y 2Y 3Y 4Y A -> 11000 12100 13310 14641 CI -> 1000 1100 1210 1331 So as you can see: 1Y gap A -> 1Y:2Y -> 11000/12100 -> 10:11 A -> 2Y:3Y -> 12100/13310 -> 10:11 Similarly you can check for other gaps in CI as well as Amounts like for 2Y gap CI -> 1Y:3Y -> 1000/1210 -> 100:121 CI -> 2Y:4Y -> 1100/1331 -> 100:121 (same) Note: The CI(s) are of the nth Year not cumulative...
