@@Ereshkigalch thank you for the comment! yes, the 2023m was on my radar for a bit but i lost interest after seeing it in person. it’s just a bit “too” baggy in my opinion. it also is a bit unlike me to spend that much money on a piece that isn’t black, since purchases with that price tag need to be extremely cohesive in my current wardrobe. not to say that i don’t like them! definitely a solid pair of denim.

@@kiIIakababs_ yeah 30 x 30 would fit me much better too 😭 go for 30 x 30. i’d say my true waist size is 29-30. when it comes to acne jeans definitely go true to size to slightly under as their jeans typically fit oversized and loose. also yes, the cut is loose fit bootcut. thx for the comment lmk if you have any other questions :)

what are some tips you have for developing your own personal style? I’ve seen a lot of other people suggest pulling from things like video games, movies, and other forms of media as reference, but I often find it’s hard to find clothes to match the look. Also currently a hs senior so money is also a problem lowk 😭

@@jonahIee haha i feel you jonah i started rlly getting into fashion senior year of hs and my bread was thinnnnn, the best thing you can do is just watch youtube imo. watch big names like Jacob Wallace, Ken Ijima, Kyron Warrick, Owen Hyatt, Smalldri, Drew Joiner, etc which will allow you to develop a large vocabulary of brands, seasons, pieces, silhouettes, and more. I come from a small town outside of boston where fashion is nonexistent and youtube singlehandedly built my style from the ground up.

@@jonahIee Furthermore don’t be afraid to copy. Copy copy copy. Even Yohji Yamamoto had a quote like that. That’s the key that I see a lot of people missing. Take people’s style/outfits that you see online and try to imitate it yourself. The stuff that you like will stick and the stuff that you don’t will eventually be cycled out of your closet. At some point in the middle of it all you’ll start to realize that you’ve found some fragment of personal style that you can continue to build upon. As for money, don’t treat pieces like a purchase, but a commodity. Trade pieces you no longer wear for things that make more sense for you stylistically. Keep in mind that style can develop without any addition of physical pieces, as long as you’re immersing yourself in fashion content. @@guillermogonzalez6929 thank you for the comment! however i must say explicitly that this is simply not true. a google search for “chrome hearts bracelet 2001” will have images of it come up. this model was produced in very limited quantity because of its clasp fragility, but can be seen in both ruby and sapphire pavee iterations, as well as a full gold version. this is further reinforced by the fact that i took it to two different jewelers that are experienced with chrome hearts and they supported its legitimacy through several physical tests
