Summer balayage how to with Blondorplex & Shinefinity | Wella Professionals

Join Wella Educator Nathan Kang to learn how to create a smoky shadow lights look using BLONDORPLEX and KOLESTON PERFECT for beautiful, natural-looking highlights. Check out all his top tips and don’t forget to take note of our formula so you can recreate this look yourself!
Step 1
Alternate weaves and slices throughout the back section of hair. Paint the lightener slightly away from the root for a soft transition.
Step 2
Continue through the sides. Around the front work only with weaves and on a diagonal for a soft flow of tone. Leave a minimum of 1 inch around the parting with no highlights.
Step 3
Apply your root color everywhere in between the foils. Develop for up to 40 minutes until you have reached a nice and even lift.
Step 4
Rinse with water and apply WellaPlex no2 and leave for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Apply the toner throughout, concentrating on the lightened areas. Develop for 15 minutes.
Step 6
Rinse the color and style the hair as desired.
Replicate this look using our formula:
• Highlights: Blondorplex + 9%
• In between color: KOLESTON PERFECT 10G 2/0 + 40g 5/18 + 50g 6% WELLOXON PERFECT
• Toner: KOLESTON PERFECT 20g + 1g 10/8 + 2g 2/0 + 2g 0/66+ 48g 1.9% WELLOXON PERFECT
