Summer Camp & Skinny Dipping Lake Temagami 1940's

This footage of Lake Temagami from the 1940's is from an old 16mm home movie I had digitally transferred.

Amazing!! My father was a camp counsellor at Camp Wabikon in the 1940s / 50s. He moved back to Lake Temagami in his old age and died there in 1999.

This was an era gone but not forgotten, I believe then they had pools in the parks I believe,also tennis courts

That 1940 video of swimming was a great look back at such a different era. The tennis players were not obese. The ladies wearing here long dress that covers the knees plus the hats for a leisure activities. Amazing.
