Hey Crystal have you thought about rotating your sectional so there’s a back to the kitchen and a back to the front door. That way you could put your console where it would be seen as you enter the front and your swivel chairs could be in front of the beautiful window. I think you might enjoy the windows more. 😊. Just an idea, it’s wonderful however you do it!

I agree, the shiplap wall in your bedroom is definitely the accent wall, if you do paint the other walls, a light muted blue would look really nice in there with your decor and style it just seems like the right color for your bedroom. Your home is looking so good, I’m loving the style your going with, a bit different from your last home, but fitting for this style of home. ❤

Hi Crystal! YES, I said it would be black and it goes great with the rest of the house, the entryway doors, stones on the fireplace, etc. Can't wait to see the console table and what you picked out for the dining room. I like your bedroom as is. Don't be doing accent walls yet. And the shiplap is an accent wall anyway. I still like having my rooms off-white. I did paint my daughter's room several times and the bathrooms, but to be honest, I'm tempted when we get the place repainted to go back to off-white walls. Great rooms look much roomier when walls are light and in the Midwest it's so dang dark outside all the time. It's also much easier to decorate, especially seasonally, as you're not competing with the color of the walls.That retaining wall is absolutely gorgeous! Aww, that Charlie melts my heart! I bet the kiddos are enjoying their rooms as well as the entire house, pond, etc.! Take care, hope I see you again this week, but whatever works! ❤

Your home us coming together very nicely. Make sure you get your pavers sealed. It will help keep any dust and dirt from staying put on your locking sand. I live in SE Minnesota, and we've had so much smoke from Canadian fires that some days it's difficult to be outside. Wednesday evening at 6:30 it was so heavy that we had to use headlghts.

I would leave behind your bed alone and hang something above the bed. You lovely home is all coming together so nicely. My grandkids are keeping me busy every night as well. Last night was National Honor Society ceremony, then an 8:00 p.m. Softball game under the lights. Got home at10:20. This morning was prek graduation, tonight art shoe. We have 4 grown children, all married, 9 grandchildren in 4 different schools all within 20 minutes. So glad they live close but we are always running! Love the new bench and the black round coffee table looks soooo nice!! And I would skip the accent wall in your bedroom, I agree that with the shiplap (which I love) it might look too busy. Maybe some artwork or shelves with pictures/decor above your bed. I remember the days of all the games etc and I would cook dinner in the morning just to have it ready. Then scoop up plates and microwave. Thank goodness for grandparents!!! ☀️☀️☀️
